People celebrate this festival by throwing rang - colored powder - on friends, family, and complete strangers as well! Furthermore, EVERYONE, regardless of ethnicity, religion, background, etc. is welcome to join in on the fun! Holi is meant to bring together diverse communities in a friendly and open environment!

Every year, HSA hosts several free events that are open to the entire university and the surrounding Austin communities. In addition to these events, there are weekly meetings to further explore what it means to be a Hindu in the midst of a busy college life.
